311 is a band from Omaha, Nebraska. Their musical structure incorporates a variety of musical styles including rock, punk, hip-hop,reggae, metal and funk.

311 has enjoyed commercial success stemming from its widespread fan base. Since their self-titled album in 1995 all but one of their albums have been in the top 15 of the billboard 200. Nineteen of their singles have received significant radio airplay since "Do You Right" in 1993 five of those songs being top 5 hits on Billboards modern rock track chart.

The image I created were 3 pictures consisting of a satilite, TV, and a family watching TV.

The Medium is the TV. The satilite sends images to the TV witch is relayed to the viewer for his or her enjoyment. This fits into McLuhan's idea of the "medium is the message". The medium (TV) is feeding many different messages and imiges to the viewer.
